Friends, I’m so glad that you’re connected with us today. Did you know that life is not fair? We have favor through the favor of God. We can move into our God-given destiny, but through revelation that comes from the Spirit of God, we receive favor and that favor helps us move into the purpose, plan and destiny of God for our lives. Stay tuned, blessing.

Friends, I’m glad that you’re with us. We are sharing today on favor in the life of Daniel and we talked last week about favor in the life of Joseph and this week we’ve been talking about favor in the life of Daniel. We begin in the life of Daniel talking about living with purpose. And I believe when you live with purpose, it gives you favor not only with God, but with people so that you can move into God’s destiny for your life. But this thing about supernatural revelation, this is the second thing we began on yesterday and we talked about it in the life of Joseph. Joseph had supernatural revelation and Daniel had supernatural revelation. In fact, the king had a dream and forgot the dream and then told his wise men, “Hey, you gotta tell me the dream and the interpretation.” They said there are not a man under heaven that can do that. He said, “Why am I wasting all this money? Why am I keeping these boys around on the payroll? We’ll just kill them all.” And Daniel went in before the king and requested of him time that God would show them the dream and then it says in Daniel 2, verse 19: “Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision and Daniel blessed the God of heaven.” Hallelujah, I know, Aaron, there are times that you’ve prayed and asked God to give you revelation about specific relationships, specific things and God’s given you revelation and God’s given us great revelation. We would not be here in this building if we did not have revelation that came from God. But praise God, God will, if you stay connected with him, he’ll give you revelation about relationships. He’ll give you revelation about your business, your ministry, your family. You know, I prayed to God before I ever dated your mother, Barbara and she turned me down the first time I asked her. I prayed again. He said, ask her again. And I asked her again and she, you know, said, I’ll go and then praise God, I got revelation. She got revelation and God put us together and we’ve had a great marriage. Thank God.

I love that God spoke to Daniel in a night vision too. A lot of believers think that every dream is from God. Daniel probably had lots of dreams, but he knew that this was specifically from God. You need to have wisdom and being able to discern what dreams are from God and what dreams are just random, maybe not from God. Not everything that you dream is from God.

That’s correct and you know, Aaron, we’ve been talking about this, about how you can discern the difference sometimes of what is God and what isn’t God by the scripture. And we talked about yesterday, five ways that you can actually know the voice of God. The word of God, the Spirit of God, the peace of God. You know, in your spirit, the peace of God leads you, guides you, acts as an umpire. We talked about relationships, that’s so valuable. We’ll talk to more this week about relationships and the value of having the right people surround you. Daniel had three Hebrew friends, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Hananiah, Azariah, Mishael they were these three Hebrew friends and God gave them revelation together and he promoted them together. Sometimes people aren’t promoted because they have no revelation, and we need to have revelation. Joseph was promoted because he had revelation. Daniel was promoted because he had revelation not only promoted, but also protected. And he blessed the God of heaven. He knew where that came from. But we talked about the word of God, the Spirit of God, the peace of God, about the right people, relationships, godly counsel. Right? And then we talked also about the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the word of wisdom and the word of knowledge, the discerning of spirits. Those things can give you great revelation and help you. God wants to help you fulfill his destiny. God wants to help you fulfill your destiny, his destiny, when his destiny becomes your destiny. It’s amazing. And man, I wouldn’t wanna do it without the Holy Spirit. Now, we talked yesterday in Daniel chapter two, how God revealed, right to Daniel this dream of the king Nebuchadnezzar in a night vision and then he got the interpretation of it. Gave the king, told him the vision and he saw the gentile empires of the world, right? The king had a dream of a image, right? Like a statue with the head of gold, breasts and arms of silver, belly and thighs of brass, legs of iron, and then feet of iron and clay. And he saw the gentile empires of the world. And he said, “You oh king are this head of gold.” And then so Daniel saw the dream and got the interpretation of it right? We’re actually living in that dream. Daniel saw that, you know, Nebuchadnezzar and his son, Belshazzar reigned in those, the head of gold and the breast and arms of silver, the Medea Persian empire. Daniel later reigned under Cyrus the Persian and Darius the Mede. So in these kingdoms that he saw, and then later he saw this belly and thighs of brass, the Grecian empire. And then he saw legs of iron, the Roman empire that was in existence when Jesus came. And finally feet of iron and clay. That’s the revised Roman empire, I believe we’re living in that time today. The revised Roman empire, the European common market, I believe is part of this revised Roman empire. So we are living in these times. And then Daniel not only interpreted the king’s vision, then later then he had a vision. It says in Daniel chapter seven, verse one, “In the first year of Belshazzar the king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed and he wrote the dream and told the sum of the manners. And Daniel said, I saw in my vision by night and behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.” Now, the sea, the waters right, prophetically speak of the gentile nations of the world. And four great beasts came up from the sea, these gentile nations, right? Different from one another. The first was like a lion and had eagles wings. This was Babylon, right? Is the… the lion is like the greatest beast of the forest, right? And then king of the forest, and the wings were plucked up and it was lifted up from the earth and made stand on the feet as a man and a man’s heart was given to it. And behold, another beast, a second like a bear, this was talking about the Medea Persian empire. And it raised itself up on one side and had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it and they said, unto it arise and devour much flesh. The Medea Persian empire was the greatest empire, the largest empire in the history of the world. A hundred and twenty seven different nations or kingdoms were under this Medea Persian empire from the Middle East up through parts of Europe, clear back to the other side of India. It was a huge empire. Daniel came and reigned under the King Cyrus and then also Darius the Mede during this time that came to pass, right? So we see these things come to pass. When you read the book of Esther, and I’ll be sharing next week on the favor of God, in the life of Esther. Esther, you know, came to…… was raised through great favor on her life during the time of the Medes and the Medes and the Persians, this great empire, that greatest empire ever in the history of the world, of the earth. 127 nations under it. “And then he said after this, three ribs, that arise, devour much flesh, this great physical empire. And then I behold another like a leopard which had on the back of it four wings of a fowl the beast had four heads and dominion was given to it.” This is talking about the Grecian Empire. And you remember the statue that Nebuchadnezzar had in his vision and Daniel got in a vision and interpreted the belly and thighs of brass. This is talking about the Grecian empire. Alexander the Great actually came into power very quickly. Notice this thing is he was like a leopard, and he had four wings of fowl, came into power very fast and four heads. Alexander the Great had four generals that ruled under him and they took, again, more flesh. After this, I saw in the night visions a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible. So this represents the Roman empire and the revised Roman empire that we live in today, right? We live in the revised Roman empire. And it says “it was dreadful and terrible and strong exceedingly. It had iron teeth and it broke in pieces and stamped the residue with feet of it and was diverse from all the beasts that were before it and it had 10 horns.” So when you read in Revelation, I believe it’s chapter 17, you read about a great beast, right, with 10 horns and then three are broken off, all these different things. This fits very good with the book of Revelation, “I considered the horns and beheld there came up another a little horn by whom three were plucked up by the roots and behold in this horn were eyes of a man and a mouth speaking great things.” And he says, I, and this is I believe the anti-Christ coming through this revised Roman empire. I am not looking for the anti-Christ, I’m looking for the Christ but I am aware of biblical prophecy and what it says. Do you know the antichrist will leave the love of women and this homosexuality and this stuff will be part of this anti-Christ system. He says, “I behold till the thrones were cast down and in the Ancient of Days did sit, Jesus and his garments was white as snow and the hair of his head like pure wool and his throne was like a fiery flame, and his wheels is burning of fire. And a fiery stream issued and came forth before him, and thousands of thousands, millions ministered to him, and 10,000 times 10,000 stood before him and the judgment seats were open.” He beheld till he saw Jesus, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lord. So he had great revelation that came from God. This is a word of wisdom, really and prophetic speaking of the future, did you know Jesus operated in the word of wisdom, Noah operated in the word of wisdom. Joseph operated in the word of wisdom. Many people operated in these gifts and we’ve had words of wisdom about the future. Thank God we have the Spirit of God to bring us into supernatural revelation.

Amen. Amen. So we have the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we have all these different keys that lead us to walk in revelation. And when you have revelation from God, it puts you ahead of the crowd. Hallelujah. Now, we’ve been talking about revelation of divine things and empires and nations, but you can have revelation for your own life.

Amen. Yeah, God wants to speak to you on big things, but even somewhat simple things. God can speak to you about like you said like who you might marry, where to start a church, how to start a business, how to raise your family. God wants to lead you and give you revelation knowledge just on a day-to-day basis.

Hallelujah. And I’ve had that in my business, I’ve had that in my ministry. Praise God. I’ve had that with who to marry and we have it ongoing, not just one time, but you know, I’ve had specific words of God that God will gimme, some of them I’ve operated in for 20 years. And just keep doing what God told you to do last. There is a key to really walking in God’s blessing and favor. You keep doing what God told you to do last. Do not get distracted. Do not get discouraged. Do not quit and it’s so important for us to do that. Praise God. So we have supernatural wisdom that comes from God.

Hallelujah. So another way is through relationships, and we’ll talk about relationships. But let’s talk about supernatural revelation and how that operates. We got supernatural revelation that comes from God. So we have the word of God, and God will take a word, right, he’ll speak to you many times by the Spirit as you’re reading through the scriptures. I’ve had God wake me up in the middle of the night, say, go read your day. I read three to five chapters of the Bible every day of the week. Sometimes I don’t do it on Sunday, but six days a week. I’ve read through the Bible for the last 20 or 30 years every year, sometimes more than once. I’ve read the New Testament at least 50 times. And you know what? God will speak things to me from the scripture. By the Spirit of God we have revelation. Let’s go to First Corinthians chapter two, and let’s just read a little bit talking about revelation that comes from God. And in First Corinthians chapter two, it says this, in verse seven, “We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world to our glory. God ordained wisdom before the foundation of the world for our glory, which none of the princes of this world knew for had they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” What wisdom is this? This is I believe, talking about the wisdom of the Spirit of Christ in us. Jesus is the head of all wisdom, and he lives in us, praise God and so we have the wisdom of God in us. This is wisdom by the Spirit of God in us. And he says, “but it’s written, eyes has not seen, nor ear heard, neither entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love him.” Some people stop right there in that message but notice the next verse. Boy, you don’t want to stop and take that outta context, “but God has revealed them to us by his spirit, for his spirit searches all things, yes the deep things of God.” So the Spirit of God in us searches out the deep things of God for what men understands the things of a man except the spirit of man which is in Him. Even so the things of God knows no man but the Spirit of God. Now, we’re gonna come back right after this break and we’re gonna share with you how we can draw on the Spirit of God in us to walk in supernatural revelation and the wisdom of God so that we can move into the favor of God and receive the divine plan and purpose of God. We’re right here in First Corinthians two talking about the Spirit of God works in the spirit of man to reveal to us the things that God has for us. And in verse 12, he makes this statement. “Now, we have received not the spirit of the world but the Spirit which is of God that we may know to us the things that are freely given to us of God. You know, a lot of people think that you get saved and then you’re stuck. They have no knowledge of the Holy Spirit and his ministry. I grew up in a church like that. We said we believed in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, but in all reality it was the Father, the Son, and the Holy who. But when we got baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, if you haven’t received that gift and you wanna receive that gift today, I encourage you to give my prayer ministers a call and they’ll pray for you. If you’re born again and know Jesus as your savior, this is a gift that is for you. And he says, we receive that spirit which is of God that we may know the things that are freely given to us of God. There are things that God freely gives us, but we are not gonna know them unless we have a personal relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit.

Yeah. Just yesterday I was reading through Matthew and Jesus, this kind of struck me. This is in Matthew 11, verse 25, but Jesus was praying and he said, “I thank you Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to the babes.” And that just really kind of struck me that certain things are hidden from even who might, people in the world might consider these people to be wise, prudent, deserving to receive revelation knowledge but God has reserved some things to be revealed to babes, to the children of God.

Yes. By the Spirit of God to the children of God, spirit to spirit. God communicates with us spirit to spirit. And you know, it’s, unless you’re born again and have received Jesus, you’re not even a candidate for this. And I believe that God does give some intuition sometimes to unbelievers about spiritual things and revelation, but they…. it’s not like when you’re born again. When you’re born again, Jesus, who is the head of wisdom, has taken up residence in your spirit and then when you’re baptized in the Holy Spirit. Jesus said that the spirit, when you receive the Holy Spirit he will show you things to come.

Yeah, I’ve even known some believers who really love God, love the word, but once they received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, they just received so much more revelation from God. So much more revelation from the word. I had a friend when I was going to college who is a very strong Christian, but just kind of talking to her she would be okay with like the LGBT stuff. Like she was fine with that like, but man, when she received the Holy Spirit, it’s just like a light bulb went off and she realized that homosexual marriage is wrong. It was just like, just the Holy Spirit just spoke truth to her.

Right. Yeah. And some of the people in the world, they have no revelation that comes from God. They have no understanding of the scriptures and…. but he says, we can know what God’s given us and Jesus said, the Holy Spirit will show you things to come. He’ll show you God’s plan. He’ll show you, he’ll testify of Jesus and show you things that God has for you in your life. And I know I’m one of those people. I grew up in a traditional church. I was saved at the years of eight years old, but I didn’t know there was anything in the scripture other really than salvation that we could believe for. Now we prayed for God to God heal somebody if it’s your will, which is a stupid prayer when you understand the scripture because the scripture does….. it is the will of God to heal every believer every time because Jesus at the same time he died on the cross and took our sins, he took stripes for our healing. And if you get that down in your spirit, you’re gonna begin to move into the things of God. And you know, but we didn’t understand the will of God from the scripture. We didn’t understand the will of God concerning our provision and the provision that God made for our life. And it is God’s will for us to prosper. Man, when I got baptized in the Holy Spirit, the word of God came alive to me. And I saw that there is a Bible full of promises that I can believe. I don’t have to live sick and poor and defeated by the devil, but I can believe God.

Yeah. I think that the Holy Spirit, that baptism of the Holy Spirit really makes the scripture come alive to you. I’ve been in different Bible studies with different types of believers and some people when they read the Bible, they just read it like a history book and there’s so much power here, so much life here, so much miracles in here and they just completely miss the point. And they’re just like reading it like it’s a piece of literature, like……

Well they don’t even read it a lot of times. You know, you were talking about last Sunday you were preacher, preached a fantastic message on the abundance of grace and the gift of righteous, it was a gift of righteousness, it was a great message but you started off by talking about how you had been on Facebook and there was a believer friend that you’d had for years and she made a statement about people singing and clapping or what’s the look of traditional people.

Well, so, so yeah, that person, she actually went to Charis Bible College and she just posted a funny, funny picture. It’s a picture from the Andy Griffith show with Barney Fife, the policeman, just like with his mouth wide open and another person with their mouth, two men with their mouths wide open and the caption was when two Baptists walk into a Pentecostal church. So she just posted that, she is Pentecostal and spirit-filled herself, but someone who’s friends with her, an older gentleman just said, I’ve never, you know, years back in the fifties when I was a kid, I walked into a Pentecostal church and people were shouting and laughing and dancing and it scared me half to death and I’ve never seen anything like this mention in scripture.

And they’ve never read the Bible.

Yeah. And I normally, I don’t comment and make, poke at people but I decided just to make a little comment, I just put in quotes, these are not drunk, as you suppose.

From Acts chapter two.

From Acts chapter two. Peter said that when the Holy Spirit fell, people thought they were drunk. So if all those Jews there from all around the world thought that this early church people were drunk.

At 9:00 AM.

At 9:00 AM they were probably laughing and shouting and dancing and maybe scaring some people half to death but the Holy Ghost is an awesome.

Oh it won’t scare you. It’s just somebody that’s cold and dead, cold dead religion. I’m gonna tell you something that’s worse than that because I grew up, right, got in a traditional church, in a church like that that really didn’t know about the Holy Spirit and his gifts. But then I got baptized in the Holy Spirit, called to preach in Andrew Wommack’s ministry in a charismatic Bible study. But then after Andrew Wommack left Lamar, I went to a full gospel Pentecostal church, right? Assembly of God Church, had a great pastor, it was a great church. My pastor was a great leader, but he took me to the leader of 10 churches, they called him a presbyter back in those days, and this man talked about in the fifties, he said, I go to church today, they’d clap those big old hands and stomp their big old feet and shout and he was actually criticizing the Pentecostal movement, a man that was raised in Pentecost and this was terrible. And I thought, man, he hasn’t been to the meetings I’ve been. Thank God when people clapped their hands and stomp their feet and shout and glorify God and praise God. That’s biblical by the way, if you read the Bible, you can see that all over the old testament. And there’s some in the new too, praise God. And we need to learn how to let the Holy Spirit move. The Bible says, do not quench the Holy Spirit. And I’m telling you, a dead Pentecostal, a dead charismatic is double dead. Some of you watching me are going to these dead churches and you’re thinking that you’re gonna revive them and listen, the Bible says in the book of Proverbs, “He that remains in the congregation of the dead has wandered from the way of understanding.” There is nothing deader than a dead Pentecostal or a dead charismatic and some of these churches that started out in the power of the Spirit, they have no move of the Spirit, no life of the Spirit. They don’t teach on the baptism of the Holy Spirit. They don’t operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is a tragedy, and we need the Holy Spirit to move into these things that God gives us by the Spirit. And he’s saying this, he’s saying, “we have not received the spirit of the world but the spirit of God that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God which things we also speak.” This is one Corinthians 2, verse 13, “not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches comparing the spiritual things with spirit.” I think things of the word of God with things in our spirit. Theo Nustos, Aaron and you’ve talked about what that is. We don’t have time to really go on it. He says, “the natural man, the unsaved man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God because they’re foolishness to him neither can he know them because their spiritually discerned. But he is spiritual discerns all things yet he’s discerned of no man, but who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him.” But we have the mind of Christ. The Holy Spirit will reveal the mind of Christ to us. The Holy Spirit will reveal, give us supernatural revelation. And listen, we have favor because you know what? The secret things of God are revealed to us, to us by the Holy Spirit that lives in us, and we have supernatural revelation. Daniel moved forward, Joseph moved forward through supernatural revelation.
