Stay Planted in God’s Word

When you stay planted in God’s Word there are many benefits available to you.

You’ll be like a tree planted by the waters. Water is a SOURCE OF LIFE! God’s Word is life!

Sometimes river beds can appear to be dry; no signs of water. Yet huge trees will CONTINUE TO GROW. They are tapped into the source of water under ground.

No matter what circumstance may look like we can MAINTAIN a STRONG RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. Be secure in His love for us, and what the His Word says. You can stay planed in God’s Word.

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river. And will NOT FEAR when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8.

In verse 8 in the Message it puts it this way. “Never a worry through the hottest of summers, never dropping a leaf, serene and calm through droughts bearing fresh fruit every season.”

It is not uncommon when challenges come to feel like we are in a “pressure cooker.” However, the promise of God’s Word is that we don’t have to be anxious or overwhelmed. In fact, we can stay steadfast, bear fruit; “never dropping a leaf!”
