Welcome friends of the broadcast. I’m so glad that you’ve tuned in today and that you’re with us. We’re continuing to teach this week on who we are in Christ. New creation, realities in Christ realities. This is a great teaching. If you can begin to understand this, you can begin to walk in the victory that Jesus already fought and paid for you to have. And so stay tuned. Open your heart and receive God’s good word today. Blessings. Friends, I’m so glad that you’re with us today. We’re continuing to teach on who we are in Christ. We’re actually talking about In Christ’s Realities. And when God was working in Christ, he was working on us, and he did in Christ what he wanted to do in every man. Now, Aaron, when we began the broadcast last week, we talked about the value of identity. And if we’re gonna possess our God-given destiny, we must understand our new identity. And we talked about three areas. Actually, we talked about the children of Israel when Moses was taking them in and gave the 12 spies instructions. Of course, Joshua and Caleb said, “Hey, we can go get it. God’s with us, let’s do it.” But the other 10, when they saw the giants, when they saw the problems, they said, “Hey, we were in our own site as grasshoppers, and so were we in their sight?” And did you know they both were right, Joshua and Caleb said, “We can go do it. God’s with us.” And they did it. It took 40 years, however, before they could go into the land because God had to let a generation of people die off in the wilderness. And the 10 would not believe him. They said, “Well, the land’s good, but they’re giants in the land.” And then we talked about Abraham and how he received a new identity. You recently preached on this a great series on More than Enough. And you talked about how you believe that God wanted to do these things the Abraham’s life much sooner than when he was 99.

Well, when God appeared to Abraham when he was 99, God told him for the first time that I’m God almighty. And that’s the first time in Hebrew, it’s actually mentioned in scripture, it’s Genesis 22, where God says, “I am God almighty, I am El Shaddai.” And that means more than enough. So I think before that, Abram somehow saw God as not quite enough. That’s why he had to try to fulfill the promise on his own. That’s why he had relations with Hagar, his wife’s handmade and had Ishmael. So Abram was trying to add to God’s promise to try to accomplish it on his own. And it screwed things up. But when he saw that God was more than enough, that that actually then, then God was able to tell Abram, you’re not just Abram, you are now Abraham. You are not just fatherly, but you’re father of a multitude. So because he understood God’s identity, then he could understand his true identity. You really have to understand who God is for you to understand who you are.

Right, and God wants to get our identity through our relationship with him. And when we do that, it changes. Greater is He that’s in you than he that’s in the world. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, who whosoever is born of God overcomes this world. We have all these promises, “But of God, are you in Christ Jesus? Who of God is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.” That’s 1 Corinthians 1:30. And when we begin to understand who God says that we are, so many people are taking some other person’s opinion of themself rather than God’s opinion of themself. And we need to really get God identify with who God says that we are. When I was just 14 years old, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and Andrew Wild MCs Bible study. And then I began to really understand who I was in Christ, and it transformed my life. And my life doesn’t look anything like it would’ve looked if I would’ve never got that revelation. And so when you get a begin to get a revelation of who you are in Christ, who Christ is in you, it changes your life and you can begin to live out God’s purpose and God’s plan. I feel like it’d be nearly impossible to live out God’s purpose and plan for your life without an understanding of who you are in Christ and what God made us in Christ. So we talked about it in the life of Abraham. We talked about how Jacob’s name was changed to Israel from deceiver or supplanter to as a prince, you have power with God and men and have prevailed. And thank God, when we begin to understand who God says that we are, it will literally change our life. So we talked about the value of identity, and then we begin to talk about the process of identity and identification is a process. And first of all, we receive a new identity when we’re born again. And then we begin to realize our new identity as we renew our mind in the word of God. And we walk out our new identity as we walk with Christ. So we talked at the end of last week about we received this new identity when we were born again, praise God. And when we were born again, we were born righteous. We were born into authority, born into health, born into wealth, born into peace. When you begin to realize that is who you are, it changes how you live your life.

And a lot of people live kind of under what they’re called to do or what God has for them because they really see themselves that way. Just like the spies who went out, the 10 spies who had the negative report, they said, “We see ourselves as grasshoppers and even the giants in the land see us as that.” But actually, once Joshua took the children of Israel into the Promised Land, people really feared, feared them like.

They had already been for fearing them. Think about Rahab said, “We heard when you came out of Egypt, well, we heard when you cross a Red Sea.” They wouldn’t have had to wait 40 years.

A lot of people have that idea too, who kind of suffer with a poor identity or poor self-esteem, poor self-worth. They think everyone sees them. Everyone’s talking bad about me, everyone sees me as a terrible person. Everyone thinks I’m incompetent. But really sometimes that’s just in people’s own head. And really those 10 spies, this whole grasshopper mentality that was really in their own head because yeah, when Israelis winning the promised land, Rahab. So we’ve been talking about you guys for decades now. We heard about what God did to the Egyptians and we know-

God had already prepared that 40 years earlier. But He had to let a generation of people die off because they refuse to believe him. And how many people today refuse to believe God or don’t understand who they are. Really, I believe that this is one reason that you and your brothers have prospered and God has blessed you because we taught you these things from children. In fact, we’re doing a brand new children’s curriculum and we’re gonna eventually do a youth curriculum here at the church where we teach all these things. And because if kids can identify with who Jesus is, they are, it’ll change their life. Lester Sumrall said something that I thought it was so powerful. He said, “Another person’s head is the wrong place to have your happiness.” And all these people, just like you were talking about how they think everybody else is talking negative. And they may be, I’ve had some of my best friends say really negative things about me, but it doesn’t really affect me. I mean, it can if you let it, but when you begin to identify with God says you are, and you begin to understand that it really, you don’t care so much what everybody else thinks. I know Andrew Womack talked about this and he was with a certain minister, and this minister actually ended up having a lot of challenges. But this minister said, “Well, this one’s talking bad about us and that one’s talking about us bad about us and another one’s.”

It wasn’t even true.

No, it was true.

It was true.

But he said, “Andrew, why doesn’t this bother you?” He says, ” ‘Cause I don’t care what they think. It’s not their opinion that matters. It’s God’s opinion that matters.” And we need to get God’s opinion. God has a good opinion of you. And Ephesians 1:6. is a great example of this, and it says, “To the brave praise of His grace, wherein he made us accepted in the beloved.” And that term to the praise of the glory of His grace in the Greek, is something like this. When God sees you, he sees you in your full potential in Christ. And then when you come to a fixed position of rest, in the grace of God, He accepts you based on your full potential in Christ. And when you begin to think about that, it changes your life. And Lester Sumrall talked about this, in this first he talked about, I just invited somebody to speak at one of my conferences and this person had put me out of their conference and circle because they listened to all this baloney. And I invited them to ours to our biggest conference of the year. And they were honored to come. But you know, Lester said, “If somebody draws a circle and puts you on the outside, you draw a bigger circle and put them on the inside.” Amen.

I love that term. Accepted in the beloved. A lot of people kind of struggle with rejection and man, when God says you’re accepted in the beloved, that’s the greatest acceptance that anyone can ever have, is to be accepted by God, to be accepted into his family. To be accepted into His kingdom and-

And that’s what he’s talking about in those verses.

Yeah and a lot of people just, man, that’s the greatest type of acceptance you can ever have. I remember when I was 18 in high school, I was applying for some really top level colleges. So I went to school for music. But I remember after auditioning and applying to these colleges, you have to wait for a while to hear back. And usually these universities will send you a letter and you either get a rejection letter or an acceptance letter. Sometimes they put you on a wait list to get a wait list letter. But I heard that, if you get a skinny letter in the mail, that means you’re rejected. And if you get a fat letter, that means you’re accepted. Well, I was at work at the time when I was a senior in high school, I worked at Baskin Robbins and there was a letter from a university I really wanted to go to. And I think, I don’t know if it was, one of my brothers brought this letter to me while I was at work and I saw it was a skinny letter. So I was upset because I thought this letter meant I had been rejected ’cause it was a skinny letter. But when I opened it on my break, it said the, “The fat letter’s on the way you’re accepted, that was really excited.” So this is your fat letter. This is your letter right here. The Bible says you’re accepted in the beloved. So you don’t need to worry about the little skinny rejection letters that people maybe have, have sent you or have spoken over you.

Doesn’t matter.

This is the greatest acceptance letter anyone could ever get.

It doesn’t matter what anybody says about you except Jesus. And you need to get your identity in Christ. And so we received a brand new identity when we were born again. But even though a lot of people have been born again, they really don’t know what God says about ’em. So as we begin to renew our mind in the Word of God, then we begin to see who God says we are. And so this is so important. Mind renewal talks about this in Ephesians 4:22-24 It says, ” Put off concerning the former lifestyle behavior, the old man, which is corrupt according as deceitful less and be renewed in the spirit of your mind.” That word renewed is the Greek word areno. And it means to re renew, to renovate, to take on a new praise God. Aaron, you were with us when we moved to Colorado Springs and we bought a 30 year old house actually. And it had never been hardly touched. I think it really needs some renovation. And we made it new, praise God. And we sold it eventually 20 years later for over double what we paid for it. And then somebody took it and did a little more to it and sold it for over triple what we paid for. So anyway, we renew our mind in the word of God. And so He says, “basically put off this old identity, this natural identity and the lifestyle, the old man, which is corrupt according to deceitful.” Let’s be renewed in the spirit of your mind and put on the new man, which after God in the likeness of God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

It’s interesting, in verse 22, it says, “It grows corrupt.” That old man, it grows corrupt. Really, see the world, the ways of the world. It just grows corrupt. It gets worse and worse. So you don’t wanna follow that pattern, follow that former conduct, follow that old man kind of lifestyle. It gets worse and worse. It grows corrupt.

No, you wanna renew your mind, who God says you are, to what God… It doesn’t matter what anybody else says. Your husband, your wife, your mama, your daddy, your boss, your school teacher. It doesn’t matter what anybody says about you ultimately, except what Jesus says about you, praise God. And you need to get God’s opinion of you. And I guarantee you, if you’re born again, God has a good opinion of you. And if you’re not born again, you need to get born again. You need to believe on Jesus. We’re gonna be back right after a short break. So stay tuned, we got great information and we’ll help you begin to walk out what God has for you in this life. Blessings. Friends, I’m so glad you’ve been watching today. We’ve been teaching on the subject of Redemption and who we are in Christ. This is some of my best teaching. In fact, I got a revelation of this over 40 years ago in Andrew Womack’s meetings when I was just a child and it revolutionized my life. And I believe if you get a revelation of who you are in Christ and what happened in the death bear on resurrection of Jesus, it will literally transform your life. And so we have a lot of great teaching on redemption. What Jesus did for us in his death bound resurrection and who we are in Christ. I encourage you to get this teaching. I believe just like it transformed my life, it will transform your life. So get on the internet, give us a call. We’d love to hear from you. Thank you so much and God bless you richly as you by his word first place. Friends, we are back and I’m glad you stayed with us. We’re right here in Ephesians 4 and we just talked about putting off the old lifestyle, the old wave being the old manner of being, that you had before you got saved and renewing your mind, who you are in Christ. And then he says in verse 24, he says, “Put on the new man, you are a new person in Christ.” This is what Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:17. Therefore, if any person being Christ the same has become a new creation, old things are passed away, all things have become new and all things are of God. Praise God. That’s a talking about our spiritual condition. Our new condition is our true condition. And we need to identify with what Jesus said about us. Praise God. And you are the righteousness of God in Christ. You are sanctified by the blood of Jesus. You are justified, you’re blessed by the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth. You’re a child of the Almighty God. Amen. You begin to identify with what the New Testament says about you talking about the spiritual realm. I really believe this is a reason a lot of people struggle understanding the Bible because they don’t really understand who they are in the Spirit. And the New Testament, I believe 90% of the New Testament was written with a perspective of who you are in Christ, Rick written from a spiritual perspective. And if you just try to understand it naturally, you’ll miss it. But if you get this stuff in you and begin to renew your mind to what God says about you, you are a winner. Praise God going somewhere to happen. Amen. So he says, “Put on the new man, which in the likeness of God, after God is created, your new man is created in righteousness, in right standing with God and true holiness.” True holiness isn’t all this stuff you do to the outward man that may have something to do with it, but it’s what’s coming out of your spirit. And if you understand who God says you are in the spirit, renew your mind to it. The outward man will come conform to what the inward man is. And that’s a challenge. A lot of people have never really identified with who they are in the Spirit.

[Aaron] That’s awesome.

So we need to renew our mind. There are a lot of people in nobody, Christ, they’re saved and stuck. They’ve got born again. They heard they needed to believe on Jesus, but they never really believed on Jesus. There’s a number of scriptures that talk about this, Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.” Isaiah 5;13 says, “My people are kept in bondage because they have no knowledge.” The Bible talks about in the last days knowledge will be increased. But even though there’s knowledge, not everybody’s hearing it. Amos 8, I think it is in 11, talks about how there’s a famine of hearing the words of God. It’s not that God’s word is not being made known, God’s word is covering the earth. But there’s some people that are just not hearing what God says.

They have ears, but they’re not hearing. They have eyes, but they’re not seeing, they have hearts, but they’re not understanding.

Jesus talked about that in the Parable of Sower in Mark 4. And he said, “If you can understand this parable, you can understand the kingdom of God.” And right in the middle of it, he just quoted just exactly what you say. They have ears, but they don’t hear. They have eyes, but they don’t see. They have hearts, but they don’t understand. And the challenge is what they’re doing with the word of God. And so your heart attitude towards the word. So we need to take a heart attitude towards the word that God, whatever you say in your word, I believe it. Isaiah said, “If you will not believe, surely you will not be established.” That’s Isaiah 7:9. And so praise God, we’ve gotta take a heart attitude. I’m gonna believe God’s word. I’m gonna put the word of God above anything. And if somebody comes preaching something, here’s an example in my own life, even if there maybe being extreme in an area, if I can see that that is a promise in the word of God, I will not come against it because I’m not gonna fight anything from the word of God that I might need. Amen. And I think sometimes God has to get people, we’ve been so far in one ditch. He has to take some people and they have to be a little bit extreme to get us out of this ditch, to get us over here and get us back in the middle of the road where we can receive from God and go where he wants us to go.

[Aaron] Amen.

So we need to believe the word. man, you start believing what God says about you. Aaron, I love you. You’re a believer. I remember, when you graduated and got your master’s degree and then I dropped you off a year later, you were going back to get your doctorate. And you had believed God had paid off all your college debt in less than one year. It was supernatural how you did that. You didn’t even have a regular job. And you are a flute player. I praise God and God blessed you and you paid off all your college debt in one year. And I texted you a message I dropped you off at DIA to fly to Houston to start your doctorate at Rice University. And I text you a message and I said, “Aaron, if you’ll believe God by the time you graduate with your doctorate, that you will have a $100,000 net worth.” And I mean, it didn’t take you five minutes and you text me right back and said, “I believe it and I’ll have it.” And you didn’t have a 100,000 net worth you had over 200,000 net worth. And most people graduating with their doctorate have about a half a a million a debt. But you’re different, why? Because we believe the word. And believe in the word will set you apart. Praise God.

[Both] Amen.

So we need to believe God’s promise. We need to believe what God says about us. And not only do we need to believe about what God says about us, we need to believe, you know what God says about Jesus. But in 2 Peter 1:3-4 it says this, this is talking about what grace has done for us. It says, “His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge, through our relationship with Jesus who called us to glory and virtue.” Amen. We have everything we need to do, everything God called us to do. We have no lack in any air of our life. But then it goes on and says this in verse four, “Whereby through our relationship with Jesus are given to us exceeding great and precious promises.” Man, we need to take out the right and proper attitude towards the word of God. Is your mentality of the promises of God that they’re exceedingly great and precious? Man, when we begin to understand that. So when we’re born again, we have everything that we need to do, everything God called us to do in our spirit, but we need to renew our mind. And the word comes alive and the word actually releases the life of God in us, in our spirit where we overcome and in our soul and helps us overcome the challenges in this world that try to keep us outta what God has for us.

A lot of people need to understand that God does have promises for us as believers. He has promises for us as children. A lot of people don’t even know what the promises are. Know what the scripture says, that God has willed for you and he is promised for you as his children. I have a nine year old son and if I make him a promise, he remembers it. He’ll remember it for months, for years later, he’ll say, “You promise that we would, go on this vacation. You promise that you would buy me this. You promise that I get to watch this movie you promise.” Like he’ll remember a promise for a long time. And a lot of believers actually get offended if someone preaches on their promises of God. And man, that’s really terrible. You need to know the promises of God that He has for you and believe him.

Well, you had an individual come over here and talk to you because he was going to a different church. His wife was struggling with a very serious disease. And because we teach the Bible what the Bible says concerning healing, that by Jesus stripes that we were healed, that we have promises of healing, that Jesus paid for our healing and his death and resurrection, that God’s nature is healing it’s His will and all these different things. And yet he wanted to teach a Bible study in his church. And it’s a big church, and he went to the elders of the church and said, “Hey, I’d like to teach a Bible study.”

On healing.

And and what’d they tell him?

They told him that, “Don’t tell anyone, but we’re actually cessationists.” That means they believe that the power of God, the power of the Holy Spirit has ceased.

That’s terrible.

It’s ceased. So God’s promises have ceased, his power has ceased, his healing has ceased. So you can’t teach on healing.

It is awful. It is awful. We just had one of our men that came to our church. He was a Baptist minister and he pastored four Baptist churches, then went to Israel, spent 16 years in Israel, raised his family there. But he talked about while his pastored one of his churches, one of the men in the church got cancer and his wife had polio as a child and she was in a wheelchair. They said she’d never have children, but she had three children. But the doctors said that he was gonna die and there was nothing that they could do. And they were gonna do surgery. And then it was so bad, they said, “Oh, we can’t do anything.” And he said he was rejoicing and he got his church together, even though he said, “And here we were, we all laid hands on him and confessed our sin just like James 5 says, and prayed to God. And he said, “we were praying to God to perform a miracle that we didn’t believe in.” But this man was supernaturally healed. It was a miracle. The power of God lived to be an old person, took care of his wife and his family. And when people get together in a very powerful things can happen. When you start believing what the word says, instead of believing what religion says, man, religion will keep you out of the power of God. Religion will keep you out of the things of God. We’ve got a lot of people, this church with testimonies. I just listened to a testimony of two ladies that came here. One of ’em, she hadn’t served God for years. She just got baptized over 60 years old and her sister. And they saw somebody come out of a wheelchair in a service here at our church. And praise God, they went to another state and their niece or something told ’em, you need to go to a spirit filled church. And so their niece found this church and told to come here. One came first and the other one came. And now they’re so excited. They’ve been baptized in the Holy Spirit water baptized, serving Jesus, laying hands on the six, seeing people healed and set free by the power God and the power God is real. But you gotta renew your mind. You gotta believe what God says. You can’t keep believing what the world says and expect to go anywhere. You’ll be saved and stuck.

Grows corrupt.

Yeah, but the path of the just is like what?

The shining light gets brighter and brighter into the perfect day. So every day with Jesus gets better and better. So keep serving him, keep looking to him, keep believing on the promises of God. And man, we teach the promises of God here. So if you need to learn about the promises of God, this is a great program to watch. Man, God has great things in store for you.
