Pray, Plan, and Persevere: Nehemiah’s Blueprint for God’s Purpose
Pastor Lawson Perdue teaches from Nehemiah, a Bible hero who rebuilt Jerusalem’s walls. Nehemiah asked God for help and prayed for favor with the king. He had a big dream to fix God’s city but didn’t rush. He prayed for months, made a plan, and trusted God. Even when people mocked him, Nehemiah stayed focused. He worked with a few faithful people and ignored the enemy’s lies. This shows us to pray first, plan carefully, and keep going when things get tough. God gives us purpose, and with His help, we can do great things. Pastor Lawson shares how he trusted God to build his church, even when it seemed impossible. Like Nehemiah, we can face giants, follow God’s plan, and not give up. This sermon inspires us to trust God, pray boldly, and build what He calls us to do.
